How To Order PDF Print E-mail

My Pet Painted pet portraits are painted from your photograhps, on double-primed stretched canvas. They are painted with artist quality professional winsor & newton oil paints, which offer the most lustrous color and texture. Your painting will last for generations and will increase in value as time passes, not that you would ever want to sell your painting but a nice thing to know in this day and age of disposable, depreciating consumer goods.

Greg's style of painting is best described as "Painterly", not all details are meticulously laboured over but a fresh and expressive application of paint and attention to details in the crucial areas creates a vibrant and contemporary image that best captures your companions spirit.

It requires a little patience on your part as a fine quality oil painting can take anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months to complete. Please feel free to email or phone Greg in that time to get an update on your paintings progress. Click here to see the latest Delivery Times for estimations for the delivery of your painting.

All My Pet Painted pet portraits come with a certified stamp of authenticity (embedded into the back of the canvas stretcher frame), signed and dated by Greg Gillespie.

Commissioning A Pet Portrait

  1. The first step is to check the Price Guide, to find a size that fits your wall space and suits your budget (prices start from an affordable $216)
  2. Once you have decided upon your preferred size you need to Prepare Your Photos for uploading via this website.
  3. Upload your photos via our online Order Form and submit your contact details and Coupon Code for Greg to contact you to discuss your painting.
  4. Then you pay a 40% deposit either by direct bank deposit (preferred), cheque or money order.
  5. This secures your place on the waiting list for your painting to be done.

If you don't have digital images you may prefer to post your photos to Greg. He will scan them and return before the painting commences.

Once Greg receives your pet photos and 40% deposit he will contact you by phone to ask you a few questions about your pet (or pets) - name, breed, age, character and any distinguishing features. You may even have some favourite toys that you would like included in the painting. You should upload these photos as well. Greg will confirm your choice of canvas style, (Gallery or Slimline), the format of your painting (horizontal or vertical), any colors you would like in the background, all before beginning your painting.

When your pet portrait is completed, Greg will notify you by email and you will be supplied with an attached digital image of your painting for your final approval or comments. Once your are happy with the painting and it is ready for final delivery, the balance is then payable to My Pet Painted and the painting is carefully packed for delivery. Payment is accepted by direct bank deposit (preferred), cheque or money order or payment online with Paypal or Credit Card.
